Mister Domestic’s Sewing Party – Capsules

Why have a blog tour when you can have a sewing party, right? Since I am absolutely obsessed with these new Capsules and Fusions collections, I decided to host a two-week party with some of my favorite makers showcasing these bomb fabrics. Here’s the line up for week one:

What an amazing week of fun, community, and beyond bananas projects from five of my favorite makers all using the new Capsules collections from Art Gallery Fabrics. Straight-up lifted from their site, “CAPSULES by AGF, a world where the best textile trends have been encapsulated with our amazing quality and softness.”

Kicking off the party was my sister from another mister, Cristy of I Love You Sew. Not only does she consistently get my 90s references and jokes behind the jokes, but her talent is beyond bananas. And oh em gee this Trompe Le Monde Bag from Sew Sweetness she made using Mad Plaid Fabrics made my jaw drop when I first saw it.

Like the details what the what? This looks high end store bought. Wow. And her Instagram feed is full of this kinda goodness. So head over to her blog post on this bag to find out more about her and this and yaaaaaaaaay!

The next stop on the Mister Domestic’s Sewing Party train was Kitty of Night Quilter, who cranked up the volume with her use of Lower the Volume Fabrics and Pure Elements Solids in her pursuit of creating a tiny village made entirely of skinny bins.

Not only are they fire, but she also named each one, which is basically perfection in a project. So head over to her blog post on the project and show her love because yaaaaaaaaaay!

Okay Sharon of Color Girl Quilts is crazy talented. There. Like look at her curvalious project for the party.

Woooooooooooooooow. Look at those curves!!  She used the Take Shapes Capsule with some Letters and Mad Plaid sprinkled in. Seriously the talent here is bananas, so head over to her blog post to find out more!

Thursday was all about Stephanie of Late Night Quilter and her smart and gorgeous bevy of pillows!!!!!

She worked with my favorite of all the capsules: Letters. It’s a fun vibrant collection devoted to the letters of love. And each pillow has a different and delicious quilt design, so run to her blog post of the pillows to see her magic for yourself.

Last but not least in this Capsules week of the Mister Domestic Sewing Party was none other than the incomparable Nicole of Lillyella and boy did she bring it.

Sariella Studios has this new DecoHex Pattern that was in the recent Stash Builder Box and it’s absolute fire! So head over to Nicole’s blog to see how she does “underdressed.”

Check out my Instagram to participate in this FQ bundle giveaway. Yummy!

And week two of the Mister Domestic’s Sewing Party will be just as magical, so stay tuned!
